Riding in Portland Harbour requires valid kitesurfing insurance and a permit.

This is because the harbour is private property and is owned by the Portland Port Authority.

To ensure kitesurfing remains open we have negotiated the permit scheme with the port authority to ensure access to all who have appropriate insurance.

2014 Permits purchased through the Club also cover you for Windsurfing, SUP, Kayak activities in the harbour.

The 2014 Permit Tariff is:-
Annual (1st Jan – 31st Dec 2014) – £29.75
Seasonal (1st April – 31st October 2014) – £20.85
