BKC Freestyle Tour – Skegness – May 19th/20th

Skegness is gearing up to welcome back the BKSA after 10 years in Round One of the Freestyle Championships over the weekend of May 19-20 .

Free camping with toilet facilities has been organised for competitors in the Pier Car Park, opposite the Grosvenor House Hotel on North Parade.

This will be available from 12noon of Friday, May 18.

The refurbished Magna Vitae swimming pool and sports centre just a few yards away is supporting the event by allowing competitors to use its new shower facilities during the weekend

During the Friday afternoon there will be a number of media opportunities, including a ride on the Skegness Eye for competitors to get a bird’s’ eye view of the beach where they will be competing.

In the evening there is a special reception with hot food at the Grosvenor House Hotel, where organisers,  sponsors and other partners involved in the weekend will welcome BKSA competitors and crew.

Registration will be at the Grosvenor House Hotel on the Saturday morning ahead of the opening ceremony, start of the championships, shows by Team Extreme and live music from the stage at the Pier Beach Bar.

The party on the Saturday night is being hosted by the Grosvenor House Hotel and features Ministry of Sound DJ Gordon John, as will the awards presentations on the Sunday.
