CAPE TOWN
The Cape Town Kite Club announces that it will open its doors on 1st December 2013. Located just 200 yards from the main setup spot and with views over the bay, the Club will be welcoming riders from the UK and elsewhere wanting to kitesurf, windsurf and surf in one of the World’s premiere destinations.
The property, a 7 bedroom house, will be exclusively dedicated to riders participating in watersports. Five bedrooms will be dedicated to riders holidaying in South Africa whilst an Annex will provide accommodation to those visiting for longer stays.
UK team rider James Boulding said:
“Excellent news on the new pimp pad in Cape Town. I have visited the sister property in Rhosneigr in Wales many times and enjoyed my stay each time. Knowing the attention to detail and homeliness associated with this location and seeing some pictures already it looks like the Cape Town club will be even bigger and better. Location wise it’s hard to beat. Big Bay is the epicentre and hub for kitesurfing in SA and to be right by the water makes for an unbeatable setup.
I look forward to getting out there and enjoying some time there in the near future.
All the best with the project.”
