FREE Ramsgate Kitesurfing Taster – 18th/ 19th August
On the weekend of the 18/19th August there will be FREE kitesurfing taster sessions at Ramsgate Main Sands. Coinciding with the 2018 National Freestyle Kitesurfing Championships this free kitesurfing taster offer is just part of a mid-summer great weekend available to adults and children of age 11+.
Six lots of 1 hour time slots are available to pre-book online on both days starting at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. 9 places per session are available to pre-book online, with the remaining 3 places for each time slot being reserved for ‘walk ins’ on the day i.e. 12 places per session in total. All information and pre-booking form is available on Active Ramsgate’s website (link below). All you need to do is pre-book a slot, print it off and bring the ticket along on the day.
The sessions are available for adults and children of 11+ and will be run by qualified instructors from from Ramsgate’s kite schools Kite Pirates and the British Kitesports Association (BKSA). Lessons will be land based and participants will learn to rig and fly the kite.
