Kitesurf #71
We’re on the cusp of a freshly minted issue, so here’s what’s out now and what’s out in a week or so…
Kitesurf #71 – A bit of a surfy theme to Kitesurf 71 with features documenting sessions at two of the most hardcore spots on planet – Cloudbreak and Teahupoo. Meanwhile on UK shores we got through a staggering 7 kites and 8 surfboards in our wave kit mega-test. We also caught up with North board designer, Sky Solbach, to find out how North are developing some of the lightest surfboards on the market, and we look forward to the KSP Tour 2012. On a non wave tip, we interviewed Kirsty Jones and Holly Kennedy about their recent successes and also check out British Columbia… It’s an epic issue and in the shops for another week or so…
Kitesurf #72 – Nearly finished and we don’t want to give too much away, but it’s a pretty UK-tastic issue, with some stunning shots from around the UK this winter and Aaron H talking to us about everything from boots, to his PKRA return, to his ACL mare… Plus we have a comprehensive beginner/intermediate package test (three weeks with a group of beginners in the Caribbean ought to do it). Plus we hear from Steph Bridge about the recent ISAF trials in Santander and have some of the best surf shots that I’ve even seen courtesy of one Patrick Rebstock in Bali… Phew. Out in around 10 days..
