Courses and Training Centres

On a BKSA course you can expect, fully qualified and competent staff and personnel. Fully insured and rescue covered centres.

The teaching methodology follows a simple, safe and logical route to successful kitesurfing, with a fun approach. You can then use this knowledge and skills worldwide to progress in the sport.

Instructors and Coaches

The BKSA governs and looks after kitesurfing within the UK. Its primary aim in terms of training is to ensure the highest standards of tuition and safety are adhered to by all training providers. Schools and instructors are trained and monitored to the highest level worldwide and are subject to annual evaluations on operating procedures and practices.

BKSA Registered School

All BKSA Registered Schools are equipped and staffed with instructors who will train you at a rate of progress that is suitable for you.

BKSA registered schools are inspected and monitored for

  • Equipment
  • Facilities
  • Insurance
  • Documentation
  • Permissions

All instructors employed at a registered school will be BKSA qualified, giving them not only certification in this country through the BKSA, but also international recognition.

All schools are inspected bi-annually ( sometimes annually)

Discipline Procedure

Negligence or malpractice is treated with the utmost seriousness. Any schools or instructor operating outside of the BKSA guidelines will be subject to investigation and necessary action is taken.
